fishnfool: Rufftop, have you checked in the footlocker below the helm? Alternatively check in your bilge area. Not sure that power steering was an option in 2012 in which case this would've been added by the previous owner. I installed my pump in the footlocker.

mudbug: 1 have a 1999 198DC. There is one pump for baitwell/wash down. And the motor only comes on when it's in the water. You can plug up the water input in the baitwell and open a cap on a water hose fitting just to the right if you're in the boat facing moto

mudbug: I have a 1999 198DC, does anyone know if these boats came with an electric fuel priming system. I used the hear a hum for about a second when I first turned the key on, but not now and I seem to have to pump the primer bulb a ling time to prime.

mudbug: I removed my stereo, put a stereo cover over the hole and built a small box behind it and it's now a glove box. I then installed bluetooth speakers. That's worked out great for me. I have tons of music on my phone and a radio app on my phone.
