Is resale on these boats really this bad? I’ve had mine for sale all Summer, dropped the price below my bottom line, and still can’t garner much interest on probably the cleanest and best priced 236 on the market right now. It’s looking like I’m gonna have to practically give the boat away.

Is it listed on this site? I went looking and couldn’t find it. 236 w/single 250, I’m guessing it’s a $20k boat. Unfortunately any electronics you put in, any trailer that’s hit salt water, worth next to nothing except in sellability. A boat that age a buyer is thinking all new electronics and repower and how much that will cost on top of purchase price.
My uneducated opinion only.

Generally speaking, no. I sold my first SF in 2 weeks to the first guy that looked at it and at full ask. Resale tends to be pretty good on these boats as-is demand. I cant figure out why your boat is not selling because it truly is the nicest 236 on the market in the U.S. and would consider it exceptionally rare given the powder coat, power package and updates. I think it is price right for the condition and upgrades to include the trailer. I haven't looked at the available inventory, but it is possible you're competing against a saturated market if slightly newer 2360's. It is the only thing I can think of. But you're right that is frickin cleanest older SF I've ever seen. I've generally had good luck with CL, having sold my last boat on it. Before you dump the price, have you contacted Bob at Angler's Edge? Everyone I talk to swears by his service and the exposure boats listed get, that and they sell quickly by most accounts. He will also assist with pricing guidance too. Get some more interior pictures too for your ad eg fish boxes, storage, seating etc, maybe even a few more up close photos of the exterior to include the trailer. www.anglersedgemarine.com/

They seam to sell quick here on the west coast of Florida. Why are you getting rid of her so soon?
The two things I see is 1 always start with THE BEST in water picture, preferably away from the dock and in nice water. Make the buyers mind think about where the boat will take them. 2 as nice as your boat is (and it looks fuckin nice) there is always a guy around the corner with a more used boat for 10K less. Hell i would let mine go for 24k. But it is a F225 and bottom painted girl with no trailer. Rag’s
Edit: I re read the above and it did not sound quite the way it did late last night in my head. I guess what I was trying to say is that people are naturally cheep. Most will buy one at the bottom portion of the price scale over the top portion. This is the reason there are a lot more. Chevys on the road then Cadillacs, and that is definitely what you have. An older boat also takes some one with disposable CASH money. I also agree with Hookedup, I think you need to put a reason why you are selling it so soon ie: buying a bigger/smaller boat, buying a house, medical problems, collage to pay for. People don’t want someone else problems. Rag’s

Just a couple of thoughts: You put you've had the boat 1 year, but nothing in the sale information about why you're selling a boat after only a year? On boats I've sold recently I had a recent compression test done and provided to serious future owners. The compression test probably paid for itself as there was no dickering on the price.
Your boat looks good, just trying to offer some suggestions that might help you move it faster. Good luck.

Nice CLEAN boat be patient it'll sell they always do. And don't be foolish enough to give such a nice boat away. I think your price is fair with a little bit for a potential buyer to work with. GLWS.

I don’t see why everyone doesn’t at least mention the compression numbers (unless they are poor of course)

It was a clean and good running boat. In the process of buying the empty lot next to me so I can put up a pole bldg, that’s why I sold the boat. Hope to get something else down the road after all this gets squared away.

Good luck, stop in to say hello an show some photos of your build. Yeah, I’ll try to pop in once in awhile. A clean used 2660 will probably be on my short list anyway if I buy another boat in a few years.
