I've never been on a Sailfish Walk around and was wondering. If both hulls are identical however with the added bow weight of the W.A. how much difference does it change the way the boat rides and handles. They almost appear to be bow heavy. Which raises concern on a 2660 with 150s is it under power. Almost seems like the 2660 should be outfitted with the 250's because of the added weight in the boat. Also the extra weight of the 250's would off set the bow weight of the W.A. Maybe some one could shed some light on this topic. This would be my second choice and it could be nice to stay over night on the boat.

I find the more weight I can get as far fwd as possible on my CC, the better. Guess you could compare hull weights between same sized CC and walk around. I’d think most of the extra weight would be the front half of the boat.

Sailfish states rigged 270 W.A.7400 lbs. rigged C.C.6700 lbs. That's quite a bit of weight if it's all forward.

Glen wants him a stabin cabin Well thinking of it, but I'm really a CC guy. In my opinion the center console has much nicer lines. But how nice would it be to have all your fishing rods stored inside that boat not having to carry him in and out of the truck every time you go fishing

Looking at Sailfish's web site you can't even order a 270 new with twin 250's. I wonder why they only made a limited amount of these boats offering the 250's

Not an exact comparison as one is rigged with Yamahas and the other with those black things. One motors trimmed up other trimmed down, but....if you look on the sailfish site at pics of the 270. Compare water line to scupper drains in the CC vs WAC. I’d believe all 600#’s are fwd of center.

I guess best would be light weight of hulls only.

I have a 2660 WAC with Yamaha 150's. I have never ridden in a Sailfish CC so I cannot give a ride comparison. Mine does about 43-44 mph. I think it's a nice match up of decent speed and economy, I cruise about 20 knots but very rarely ever have it pinned. I don't notice it being bow heavy, even with a 22lb anchor, 25ft of chain and 300ft of line in the locker. Slept on it last weekend!
