I think the storm that passed through the last two days messed up a beautiful weather day of fishing today. A few small Bass but what a beautiful day on the water. Everything was so murky I think it turned the bite right off. Hoping for a better day tomorrow.
Same here on Long Island south shore. I did very well though with Tog Saturday and Sunday. I have heard they are catching bass again this morning off of fire island, I guess it took a couple days for the water to clear up after that blow last week.
Ya I agree. It was rough so I made my son run the boat. I could tell he was scared but I kept assuring him he was doing fine which he was. I had him running a rip line with the wind and current sucking the boat into it.It is a challenge to keep the boat 50 to 75 yds off the edge to stay on the fish.
