Of course no access starboard side forward of the gunnel. 2 lag screws 1 nut and bolt had to drill it out easiest way. Will replace with three new lag screws and bed everything in 4200.One down 2 more to go.

2 of the rod holders both starboard side and one rear port. The locking pin for the rods broke and fell into the hull. Without them the rods spin in the holders. I will replace with an 1/8 X 2 1/4" nut and bolt.

Not looking forward to that happening.
How are you going to access to get a nut on there?

Can't do it, no way, bad design without cutting an access hole, that's not happening. Started with a very small drill bit. Worked my way up to 1/8 inch. Use a lot of cutting oil and drill away, you only to go about 3/16" deep. The philip's head screw makes drilling easy holds the bit nicely. Ten min later the nut fell into the hull. I will not try to put a nut and bolt back in just another lag screw.

More like a 6 pack job. I have an inspection plate on the port side because the gas fill is next to the rod holder but nothing on the starboard side. I’m thinking about adding one on the starboard side for the reason you are working on and also because I’m thinking about adding a 0* holder just above the forward holder for deep dropping.

My lay out is the same inspection plate on port side for fuel. I tried it to access that rod holder on that side even though it didn't need replacing. Well I need an arm 10" longer, no way. Your boat you'll need an arm as long as your leg...lol.
