I have a 2001 sailfish 170 and when replacing the seachoice ball scuppers I noticed that the plastic thru hull behind it is cracked all the way around. I can't find a thru hull anywhere that is designed like this particular one.. Anyone know where I can find them

Yes like those. I have 2 brand new ball scuppers, but it's the strange thru hull fitting that is behind the ball scupper that is broken. It has a 2 7/8 diameter flange that is flat so that the scupper sits on it flush and makes a good seal. And goes thru a 1 1/2 hole in the transom. It has threads and a nut on inside. And it has a barb that fits a 1" hose that leads to the deck drains.

My disclaimer is I don’t have a setup like that on my 2360.

I think you are on to something there. I haven't been looking at thru hull drains.. That is very similar to what I have, except it isn't long enough because my transom is like 1 3/4 thick.

Personally, I’d upgrade. Find a brass thru hull that the outside flange is small enough not to interfere with screws for mounting the outside ball scuppers. Another option, that same site has some inline check valves you could use instead of the ball scuppers. Then I’d look for a thru hull with a flange big enough to cover/hide the old screw holes.

Look at Gemlux thruhulls. You can attach various fittings on the back end. Its also all metal, which will last forever.

Gemlux does have some nice fittings, but after looking thru their stuff I have to say their website is atrocious. So hard to search for what you want.. I tried to get one of the chat people to talk but they never replied either.

I 5200 glued and screwed the old broken flange back on with brand new ball scuppers for now, but I have been playing around with the idea of just blocking off the scupper holes and let the bilge pump take care of any deck drainage. It's a river boat so it's not gonna get alot of spray down or backing down action.. Just rain and cooler drainage.
