Hey Guys- I have a 2360 cc w 150’s. Any idea what the total weight might be on the trailer with full fuel? My AWD Qx56 is rated for 8500 lbs and I’m trying to decide if it would be safe to trailer a few miles to the ramp. I would rent a 2500 to pull anything more than a few miles. Thanks!

Your probably pretty close to 8,000 with trailer and fuel. I have a 2360 with F115's so a little bit lighter but not much. I trailer it with a Lexus 460 and no issues at all. I also use a F150 and again no problems at all.

From the specs on my 2012 2380CC with a single 250 is 5600 pounds wet weight. That does not include fuel (153 gallons) would be another 918 pounds.

The new 242cc weighs 5600 rigged. Add another 1000 for fuel and 1000 for trailer you’re at 7600. You should be ok for a few miles with an 8500lb rating. I have a 2660 that I tow 10-12 miles with a GMC Yukon Denali. It’s rated for 8500 and it tows it fine.

Towed mine for years with a 1998 Chev 1500 with a 6500# tow rating. No problems. Didn’t stop real good, so make sure those trailer brakes work and leave some extra room in front of you!
