Well, not to cause trouble, but I could not disagree enough. If there was ever a reason for term limits, this is it.

Still true today: “There isn’t a dime’s worth of difference between the Republicans and Democrats”--George Wallace, 1968 “I am not a member of any organized political party – I am a Democrat”--Will Rogers, 1930
Sadly we keep voting in the same people over and over, and any new one's get corrupted once in office.
I remember hearing in a 60 minutes interview with a Louisiana voter why Louisiana voted Governor Edwin Edwards back in office after all the illegal issues (accepting $10k from a Korean businessman while governor, etc.): "He may be a crook, but he's our crook". Edwards served 2 terms (term limit maximum), then ran years later and was reelected for 2 more terms. Guess Louisiana is sort of typical of much of the U.S. Especially considering many of us would be in jail for doing what our elected representatives have done and that applies to both parties.

They are all trying to save their own seats/careers and they all know what trump is doing is truly good for the country but no way in hell can they openly support him. )

I have always supported term limits and believe that the POTUS would not have been put in the situation he was put in if it were not for certain corrupt, morally bankrupt career politicians. As a practical matter, it will never happen, the political elite will never vote themselves out of a job.
I also believe there is good reason to think that Trump would have never been elected if there were term limits and those who were elected actually accomplished things in the best interest of their constituents and country rather than being self serving.
To that end, I am glad he was elected. In my opinionx he has been one of the more transformative and impactful POTUS's in my lifetime. I could only imagine how much better off our country would be if it were not for the 24/7 obstructionism and distraction by those who have made every effort to overturn the election since the day he was elected.

Sadly I watched the State of the Union Address(I could not sleep...) and could not be more embarrassed for our country. Our elected "officials" acted like petty school children on both sides of the aisle. The President was wrong in ignoring Pelosi's attempt at a handshake, her behavior during the speech in making every attempt to ignore it and then ripping up the speech at the end was simply juvenile. The standing on one side and the sitting the other is like a SNL skit. I know this is nothing new but just seems heightened with the vitriol that is out there. Sad times indeed...

The state of politics is truly sad in this country. In a sick sort of way I almost applaud Romney for voting for impeaching, except I don't believe for one minute he was doing it because he thought it was right, but just to stick it to Trump.
