Not much to report, but it has been quite around here. Made an 88 mile trip south to the lumps in Hope the big tuna would be there but they haven’t moved in yet. We did hook and miss one tuna that pulled about 250 yards of line on a 50 wide before the hook pulled. Tried for wahoo also and stuck out on them as well. Put a few bee liners in the box and called it a day. It should pick up soon.

Was hoping to make my first run this week but it’s been 4-6 footers all week. And I still need to get the duck boat put away anyway....or take it out for specks!

Yes it is. And that’s when the tuna are in close in a couple hundred feet of water. The rest of the year I run 100 + miles for tuna.
