For the 2 trim piston caps. I need to replace the seals on both starboard trim rams. I've got a half azz tool from years ago but looking to purchase a good one..Any recommendations. Yamaha 150 four stroke.

This is where I bought my spanner wrench and it works great with a cheater bar pulling slowly until the seal cap breaks free. Its what the Yamaha mechanics use at the marina next to by house. www.moto-stops.com/store-wrenchesOffer still stands if you want me to mail you mine if you mail it back. gatorman-

I like the ones that attach to a 3/8 or 1/2 inch Drive. I was thinking it would be a good idea to use the down pressure of the motor with a piece of PVC pipe and I actually found a post THT of someone who tried this and it worked well.

I also used the marine tech brand. Worked great and was cheaper than the Yamaha brand. Mine is for 250’s. Not sure if it’s the same as the 150’s but your welcome to borrow it. I little searching would determine if it would work.

For the F150, you will need two tools. The pine size and the distance between the pins is different for the trim and the tilt. According to Marine Tech, the size and distance depends on the year motor. For '04-'10 you will need AMT0006 and AMT0009. For '11-up you will need AMT0006 and AMT0004.
