So went to plug in my phone charger and it didnt work. Worked all last year.
Does this socket have an inline fuse?
Anyone else experience a problem with their cigarette lighter socket?

You’ve probably checked for corrosion in the plug but mine had some I removed with sandpape. Also, try another plug. I had a bad plug. I didn’t see a fuse bit in my 236 I had to change out the plug.

Thanks. I had 2 chargers on the boat both did not work, both worked in the truck.
I peeked in there and didn't see any corrosion but I didn't look close or with a flashlight, as was dealing with another problem.
Ill look tomorrow and see what I see. My console is full of stuff or I'd trace the wire to see if there's a fuse. I think it connects to the bus bar.

I put a fuse inline in mine when I did some rewiring. Can’t remember if it had one originally or not.

I’ve had issues with corrosion on mine or depending on the plug I’m using ensuring its making contact in the appropriate places. Sometimes requires rotating or jamming it in.
Like outadablue I added a fuse to mine at some point over the years.

Problem solved...
I finally got the console cleared out so I could access my rats nest. Looks like when I was installing my new SIRUS/XM reciever I inadvertently unplugged one of the connections from the back of the plug.
I love it when it turns out to be a simple fix
