Hope everyone has stayed safe with everything going on and hope you have been able to get out on the boat.
Been a while since i have posted a fishing report so here is a little recap.
My neighbor does a good amount of commercial sword fishing off of Miami and i was finally able to get myself invited on a trip. Left after work, ~5pm, and got back to the dock at about midnight. Overall it was a slow night, got 3 swords and one blackfin (a good night for him is 8+ swords). The cores on the swords weighted 86, 104 and 194 pounds. The big fish was probably 225+ whole. They do buoy fishing so that was a whole new experience for me. Set out 20 buoys and wait for one of them to get out of line then hand line in the catch.

During the lock down when the ramps were closed we were not able to get the boat in the water but luckily a coworker lives on the water and has some jet skis we could use (same guy that has the 39 CV i fish on). We took advantage of that and got out often just to break up the monotony. A benefit to the lockdown was that the sandbars were empty.

Once ramps were re-opened i tried to get out whenever there was a weather window. Found a couple decent dolphin but they haven't shown up in big numbers yet.

Also got my daughter on her biggest yellowtail. Its actually one of the biggest i have seen. It was 29"TL and just over 5 lbs.
