My 245DC has a USB port on the helm, I assume it is for the Fusion radio. But this USB port does not provide any power over the USB port.
Curious, if any 245 DC owners have tried this port and know if it provides power. Just want to make sure mine is OK.

You will need to chase your wires from the USB port to see what it’s connected to. Some are wired to the battery to supply power for charging cell phones. Some are wired to your radio head unit for music. Some are connected to your mfd for use with video.

The Pop Up USB with 2 slots provides power. The single USB that you have to twist open is for the radio (at least that's how it is on my 245DC). The radio port only provides enough power for a USB attachment, not enough to charge anything.

Interesting, thanks for the info. You seem to have an outlet with 2 usb ports - on my 245 DC it is a 12V plug.

I've got one 12VDC on the galley and at least one forward, but the dash has the USBs. Figured all 245DCs would be the same, but I guess it's determined by who was installing the electronics that day. I put my phone in the holder and plug up a short cable to the USB on most trips so I never have to worry about the phone being charged.
I wasn't really too happy to get the boat with a galley, but it is just a great place to store some of my tackle and tools (after replacing the latch with a locking latch). Maybe getting the galley is why mine is USB, but you'd think with a built in phone holder it would be a USB on the dash instead of a 12VDC receptacle.
