In the rear bilge area there is what looks like a pump with a small plastic tank on it (like an overflow tank). Any idea what this is?

I checked, but I haven't taken any pictures of the bilge. I worked in it a week ago as the hole from the starboard side was blocked, but I didn't pay any attention to the pump itself. However on page 23 of the 2019 manual they show the bilge (much cleaner than mine). Maybe that will help:

Maybe that will help: I looked at the owners manual and didn't see anything in it that looks like this thing (which I assume is a pump but may not be). Next time I go down to the boat I will take a pic.

Where in the bilge are you looking, I have mine in my driveway, I can go take a look? When I lift up the back seats to access the bilge it is right up front. The little plastic tank on it is empty.

Just went out to look, I think what you're looking at is the power assist hydraulic steering pump, if it has a warning sticker "caution hot surface", that's it. FYI, my tank is about 2/3 full.

hydraulic fluid for the power steering. You have power steering right, I know some boats did not come with it.
