Hey everyone —
I’m a new owner and I love the boat. Perfect for me at this stage of the game. The one concern I have is the scuppers. There’s a 90 HP Yami 2-stroke in the back so I don’t think it’s too weighed down but when standing back there water comes into the boat and they don’t drain all that well/fast. It makes me nervous leaving it in a heavy rain. Anyone know of a fix for this?

Sorry I'm not familiar with that model, but wanted to welcome you to the forum. Hopefully you'll get an answer soon.

I appreciate the welcome! It just rained pretty hard so I went to check on it and sure enough quite a bit of water on the starboard side toward the stern. If I stand on the bow it drains perfectly. So the issue is the top of the scupper drain is below the waterline... not good! The guy I bought it from put the ballscuppers on so I’m assuming it had issues before. I’m at the point where I’m not comfortable leaving it in the rain. As a temporary fix I may place something heavy on the bow if I know it’s going to rain.
I’ll be back with updates if I find a solution

Take a look at the hose from scupper drain to thru Hull. Finatic, was it you that put the styrofoam blocks under those hoses to take out the dip in them? Someone on here did it on their 21’.
