Wow!!! Looks like he caught a wave pushing the pulpit down and slamming it into the bow. Good job saving her. It could have been a lot worse.

He was surfing that wave good, not sure why he went over it. Seems had he just stayed on the back of the wave he would've been okay.
So how does insurance work if you dont actually "hit" something? Not sure that stuffing the bow into a trough is a covered event.

Ouch!!!! Never imagine that a wave could cause such damage on a pulpit. Could have been something floating??? Insurance should cover that, at the end is a serious damage to the boat I think.
