I've got an '02 216, which should be pretty similar to the 206. I have a bunch of the non-skid pry out inspection plates that leak (2 in splash well, one in front of leaning post, one in front of console, and one at front of console). They also tend to deteriorate a bit when I, well, pry them out. Anyone know the brand or where I can get the right replacements? I'd rather not have to drill new holes for a different plate... Pretty sure they are 6" opening. Thanks!

Well with your boat being a 2002 I'd be surprised if you can find an exact match.
There are a few vendors out there. I seem to recall someone posted a link to plates not long ago. ry the search function.
Measure the plates and find the best match you can.

beckson.com/Here you go. Can get new rubber o-ring for them. Before you do, consider removing the outer ring. Clean it up and reseal with life caulk or 3M equivalent. I actually found those ring gaskets recently at a local marina. Might be worth calling around locally.

I replaced the gaskets only on the 2 pry-out deck plates in my splashwell. On my 2007 218CC, they were made by Beckson. When I checked around, it seemed all outlets that carried Beckson sold them for the same or more than Beckson, and shipping time was more, so I ordered them directly from Beckson. They carry 6" deck plates as well - good chance that is the brand you have. Look on the underside for a model number, the Beckson name may not be there. Here's the link to their site: beckson.com/prydp.html

I remembered seeing something recently too, but couldn't for the life of me find the thread. Thanks for the info, guys! Since the tops are disintegrating, I might just replace the whole piece, just hoping to keep screw holes and deck hole diameter the same.

Deck plate hole size will be the same. If the mounting holes do not line up just seal up the old ones with 4200 and drill new mounting holes.

Any of y'all see a reason to not use the clear plates in the splashwell of a 218? Would be "cool" to take a look and see what's down there while out on water and taking a leak off the back of the boat

I just ordered new o rings from beckson for my inspection plates both pry and screw type. The other day I noticed a good amount of water when I unscrewed the drain plug and thinking it might be coming from water on the deck leaking down.

I'd be worried of sun damage to the exposed hoses and wiring. If my splashwell were clear, the sun would be hitting the fresh water pump, maybe even bilge electrical, the whole time.

Yea, that's a concern, but I really don't think there is much back there. I need to look at it. My boat stays under cover most of the time unless it's at the house (not in storage) or fishing.
