Hello everyone my name is Brandon and I'm hoping to be the new owner of a 218cc sailfish very shortly. I've been researching these boats extensively and they look to be a great fishing and family boat for our area. We mainly fish the CBBT and occasionally offshore if weather permits. I'm in the process of purchasing a 04 218cc pending survey, so fingers crossed. Looking forward to everyone's help on here.

Welcome Brandon, great hull.
Wish I were closer to the CBBT, I have to settle for the Bay Bridge. CBBT actually wouldnt be a bad over night trailer trip for me.

Welcome aboard to another CBBT fisherman. Good luck with the boat and hope to see you out on the water soon.
As soon as the weather gets better, get fishing. I caught a few bluefish and lost a cobia a week ago. Son-in-law landed limit of tuna at the canyon and I know people are catching at all the inlets, etc.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. We have a survey scheduled for Tuesday so hopefully I'll be a new sailfish owner this week.

Well guys I'm the proud owner of a sailfish now. The boat had a clean bill of health and the survey went and sea trial went great. I was really impressed with the ride, especially in 2 to 3 ft seas in the bay today. Once I figure how to upload some pics I will.

Congrats! I plan to be out somewhere around the 4th island Friday. Hope to see you out there.
Our weather forecasting lately has been a constant reminder that it's hard to understand why weathermen (and women) can keep their jobs when they're wrong over 50% of the time. Seems they're covering their bets this week with a forecast that changes hourly. I'm hoping their Friday's forecast in one of the days they get it right.
