Had issue with with both engines (F150s) starting on our Sailfish over the weekend. I’m thinking I have it tracked down to a bad Blue Seas Battery Switch, but want to see what others think. Cranking batteries are connected to one Blue Seas switch and the house batteries are connected through another switch. The house batteries are also connected to engines in case of emergency needs. Boat was operated with both switches in 1+2 so issues weren’t immediately present. Turn cranking battery switch to 1, 2, or 1+2 and no power to either engine, but with house batteries off. Turn house batteries on and get power to the engines, although it’s low amp. Tested both cranking batteries and they are fully charged. Does it sound like the Blue Seas switch? There’s no visible damage to it, but could it be the contact points inside the switch that are the problem? Any help is greatly appreciated. Switches are inside the console out of the weather.

I had a pair of BEP switches fail, but was able to see cracked plastic housing due to over tightening the mounting bolts.
I’d start by cleaning battery connections, especially negative side.

Sounds more like a corrosion issue, worse on the cranking battery connections than the house batteries. If all visible connections are clean, may need to look at battery cable lugs and cut back the heat shrink. The heat shrink could hide a corroded connection at the crimp. Also, pull your motor cowling and make sure there isn't corrosion where the battery cables connect.
