The other day I noticed a small hose disconnected in the bottom of the bilge. I looked all around and couldn't see where something was disconnected. I recently had a aft cup holder blow out the boat and replaced it with one that has a nipple on the bottom of it, does this hose connect on the cup holder for drainage? I know the rest of them drain into the bilge.

Or it could be the open drain end from cup holders or rod holders...

what's the diameter? I had the line from the leaning post live well laying in the bilge not connected to anything. That was about 1 1/2 inches I think.

I'd say the diameter is 3/8 at most

Or it could be the open drain end from cup holders or rod holders... Did the original cup holders have drain lines? I was thinking that's what it was used to guide the water down.

Sounds like a cupholder drain line to me

Agree with schoolsout - a cupholder drain. ONe of mine had dropped off on the transom/starboard side, and it wound up dripping right on the fresh and raw water pumps leaving them corroded. Suggest you re-connect it and secure with at least a zip tie or a small hose clamp.

Thanks everyone, it was a cup holder drain tube, all secured now.

Funny, mine are clear. If they are black, it is from all the mildew on them that makes a mess on your hands when you have to handle it!
