Yup, not a nice storm. Had lots of tornados down here in Southeast Virginia, Northeast NC. People killed, buildings and homes destroyed. The tropical storm wasn't so bad, but the tornados that came along with it caused a lot of damage.
My yard is still a mess after a few hours of cleaning stuff up, but considering what other's faced, I'm lucky.

Yiles, alot of water. Is that high tide?
It blew through here this morning/early afternoon d umping lots of rain, leaving downed trees and power outages in its wake. We're still without power.

We were to right of the storm so very little rain but allot of wind! The storm is moving off now and wind is subsiding, thankfully because I broke one line and boat started to just hit one of the poles. No damage to boat but yard and neighborhood are a mess. Yes that is all sea water over the bulkhead and its low tide. No flooding the house is high enough.

Why would you not remove the boat from the water before the storm arrived? I cannot imagine not putting my boat on the trailer if a hurricane was on the way. If I had to evacuate, that boat will be right behind me on that trailer too. We went fishing the day the storm went by us (Sunday). We didn’t take the boat out. Son went surfing. We didn’t even get rained on. Pretty much got skunked though. I only caught mullet with the net, but nothing on the hook. Tide and surge was coming in. Docks that are usually 4ft above water level were even. We left around 10pm.
