Very fat fish 80 to 100. Of course when we picked it up over the side of the boat I was so tired it felt like hundreds...lol

I freeze tuna when I have to. Much better fresh. I usually blacken frozen tuna (do a VERY slow thaw) as the freezing effects color and texture, but doesn't seem to effect taste. The blackening hides the color change and seems to help the texture change and actually tastes really good.
You can find all sorts of tips on freezing tuna, but I do mine with a food saver and remove as much air as I can.

I heard BF doesn't freeze good, not sure if that's true.
I have no problem vacuum packing and freezing YF. Still tastes great many months later.
