This morning, I was being rushed and accidentally plugged the wrong charger into my laptop, it shut down instantly and will not power up. The proper charge output is 19v, 2.37 amps, the wrong charger outputs 54.4v 2.21 amps. Thoughts or suggestions? I have not tried anything yet except to try powering it on, both plugged into the right charge and unplugged, to no avail.

Sorry I can’t help but that sounds like something I would do. Always in a hurry. Good luck.

Did it burn up more than the battery? I would think the battery would buffer the rest of the computer and you would have to replace the battery at most?
