I thought we had a conversation on here about scuppers, but I can't find it now. The plastic inserts with the rubber stoppers on my scuppers are long gone. What are we doing other than replacing the entire through hull fitting?

Yea. mine aren't the rubber flaps. It's a plastic insert, kind of like a wagon wheel, and the rubber piece is attached in the center. It sits about 2" inside the through hull.

So here it is. This was a plastic insert that was fitted inside a race inside of the scuppers. This plastic insert contained a rubber membrane. If there is a way get these, that would be great.

Yea, I get those suggestions a lot, but they are not going to work for this.

My biggest complaint with the scuppers is how rigid they are. When I am doing a washdown it takes forever for them to empty. Even when I have the boat in my driveway in the Spring and am cleaning it I prop them open with a screwdriver so they will drain quickly. I know the reason is so that water will not enter the boat when in the ocean but still is frustrating. Any suggestions??
