I have a very hard to turn PVC ball valve with the red handle which operates as the drain lever for the live well in the stern. I took it out toady after failed results of lubrication and measure the inside threaded diameter which is 1 3/4. What I noticed is that most ball valves for sale are either 1 1/2 or 2 inches. I could not find any 1 3/4 ID. Any ideas or advise on which valve to use? thanks

Used silicone lube and other lubes and cannot get it to work smoothly... need a new one, this is a finger breaker

I've sprayed about 3 gallons of every type of lube into mine as well and it still barely opens, so this is on my to do list also. Let us know if you find a good alternative.
One suggestion would be to call the Sailfish factory but since they installed the POS in the first place, well...

ordered the "American Valve P200 1 1/2" PVC Ball Valve IPS Schedule 40, 1-1/2-Inch" from Amazon for about $11 and it fits well. The threads match up with the live well drain and the T connector. I think any PVC valve Schedule 40, 1-1/2-Inch will work, red handle, blue handle or black. The one I got, the valve moves very easily, so far, I might do an update down the road after I used the live well couple of times... $11 well worth the investment

They look exactly like the ones off my above ground pool filter. View AttachmentView Attachment
