LOL. Nah, baseball wouldn't help with the pain. I think the president of the American Petroleum Institute has summed up how to 'ease the pain': Roll back the policies Biden enacted against the fuel industry to help with climate change.
I'm for slowing or reversing climate change, but trying to do it overnight by destroying our economy probably isn't in anyone's short or long term interest.
The UK has steel mills slowing production and fertilizer companies shutting down for long periods this year due to lack of energy or unable to get reasonable cost energy. Wasn't windy enough and Russia won't increase their fuel exports to Europe because China demands for fuel have grown so rapidly. The US doesn't want to end up with the fuel issues the UK has (although now OPEC has somewhat the same ability to do to us what Russia is doing to Europe and the UK). The UK has had to fire back up coal generators in order to have enough electricity capacity. They actually were using coal generation during the climate conference that has planned to end all coal generation!

Why has Russia and China admitted they will do nothing to combat carbon emissions. Why are we the suckers always dealing with the issues and everybody else reaps the benefit while the American people suffer. The real statistics where we are actually are as far as our carbon footprint is so much better than what is talk about. We need to go back to being independent remove all the regulations start fracking start drilling get back to where we were. One year ago the United States was controlling the petroleum industry prices and distribution now we're begging OPEC to please give us more what a joke

Meanwhile here in the US, the corrupt climate Gestapo will continue to enrich themselves and their donors while they regulate the rest of us into submission.

Just filled up my F-150 to the tune of $84.00. I've had the truck almost 3 years and have NEVER come anywhere close to that. Low $60 was the most I've ever paid. Freaking ridiculous, hope Biden enjoys his one term, or what he remembers of it...

Well it's only gotten worse. Average I'm my area $3.75 bastards at the pumps never mind on the water.. Our stupid leaders are talking about freezing gas tax for a year big deal maybe less 15 to 18 cents a gallon. How about opening back up the pipelines retracting all their restrictions allowing drilling on Federal Land again, bring us back to oil Independence unbelievable. I can't believe these people put us in a position that were actually buying oil from Russia so freaking incompetent.

The one thing that would help the recession the most is opening up drilling and lowering gas prices. But oh no, she crack smoking Hunter has to get his cut from from foreign oil companies. Gas at the marina went to $4.30 this week.

I keep trying to write something without it becoming a diatribe. Can't seem to find anything nicer or shorter than "let's go Brandon".

My offshore fuel bills this season will actually double from the season of 2020. I'm choking on the thought of spending $600 in fuel just for a day of fishing but I won't let it stop me.

I'm choking on the thought of spending $600 in fuel just for a day of fishing but I won't let it stop me. I remember with the Albemarle when gas went over $4/gallon at the dock it was $700 or more to go out to the gulf stream and fish. Some of the most expensive tuna I ever caught. Usually I'd have a couple of guys pitching in on the fuel, so that helped. I was hoping never to see those prices again, but here we are.

Gas prices skyrocketing, largest inflation (7.5%) in 40 years, food prices out of control, Russia is about to invade Ukraine but hey at least Brandon put up a "diplomatic boycott" for the Olympics and is boycotting Mexico's avocados. This administration is really killing it...

$4 at Wawa here for 89. I think we will hit $5 before it's all said and done. As I understand it some places in CA are at $6+ but a lot of that not surprisingly is taxes.
