Gonna be a rocket ship. Can’t wait to see more. Thanks, its should top out around 76-80mph depending on load with a cruise at 50mph. Your buddies Yellowfin is gonna be a sweet looking rig as well I bet you guys are having fun putting that build sheet together. What engines did he decide to go with? Here is a video of the Owner of Onslow Bay Brad Knight taking some people on a sea trail at a boat show in I think Mississippi. Its set up just like my will be. 33 Onslow Bay Demo VideoGoing with trip 300 Yamaha. He has been waiting for them to introduce the new version with electric steering. He called yellowfin as soon as I told him about it. Yellowfin didn’t even know about them yet.

Nice, those 300's are bullet proof as I'm sure you know and the electric steering should be an awesome upgrade.

Wow only 9k lbs with triple 400Rs, that's light!
Love the sound of those motors spooled up, sounds like a jet airplane.
See how fast that rig got up to 70 mph?!

When I was narrowing down my list on 33ft class boats it was a choice between Onslow 33, SeaVee 32Z, Yellowfin 34 and Invincible 33. All are lighter than the 33 Onslow Bay if you look up the specs. All very nice boats and so close in ride and options. Just blessed to be able to own one of the 4.

Definitely top 4 mono hulls out there. I would love to take a ride on the Onslow Bay one day. The only one that I have seen is a 27. Crawled on it and looked but didn’t get a chance to ride on it. I have been on the other 3 brands and that 27 was right there with the other top boats as far as quality. You will enjoy this boat for a long time.

I was told by a friend who was looking at them and was discouraged and ended up buying a sea vee because they told him the fish boxes drained into the hull is that possible. How could a boat of that quality allow blood and everything else to drain out through the hull and then pumped out makes no sense to me

I see 6 thru hulls in that pic, that's a lot of thru hulls, what the heck else are those thru hulls for if not to drain every storage box in the stern of the boat?
Maybe it's got a forward in deck box like my boat that drains into the bilge? I wouldn't care esp if its macerated.

No thank you to macerators been there done that. Contender does the same thing and at the end of the day when cleaning after a fishing trip all the soap will be in the bilge already you just splash some beach in there and pump it out and done. We have done it on My buddies Contender and another's Onslow no big deal at all.

Figured the two large ones were for bilge pumps, hadn't thought about tuna tubes.

Yellowfin does the same thing unless you specify a mercerator. This is on the side fish boxes in the stern. The big box in the bow is mercerated. I prefer the pumps over draining into the bilge as long as you can access the pumps if and when they need maintenance.

It’s all in what you want. If I wanted maceraters I could have them plumb them or someone else. But seeing it having fished in boats that drain to the bilge it’s a non issue for me and less things to fix. There is a strainer over the hole in the fish boxes so it’s not like scales and guts go into the bilge. Just melted ice and the blood from where you gaffed the fish.
