I can't open the link, but I believe most of these backing plates use an industry standard bolt pattern that aligns with the industry standard bolt pattern of rod holders.
I bought Gemlux backing plates for some SF rod holders I installed along the transome and they fit perfect.
I believe there might be a blind fastener solution.

The plates you chose say they are for series 80 rod holders. If that's what you have they'll work, however they also offer a series 70 and I don't know the difference myself. The Lee and Tigress plates offer larger slots and I expect they'd cover a larger variety of rod holders.
The last rod holders I put in were in a place I couldn't use a plate and I used large D washers. They held up fine, but I'd rather have had a plate.

I need to fix the one on the port aft corner. There is no way to get underneath it and I would rather not cut a new hole. So I was thinking of getting a plate and welding or epoxy some nuts on it and sticking it underneath with some butyl tape, then screwing it down from above.
