Happy Friday Captains!!
Have any of you ever had to order the Rocket Launchers behind the Helm Seats that mounts on top of the tackle station and then installed them yourself? I am looking to add this to my 2019-270CC. Don't ask me why it didn't come with it. The boat has every option except the bow table and this behind the helm seat rocket launcher. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
The one in the picture is white powder coated. I am looking for a black powder coated or just no powder coat.
Thank you!!

There has definitely been a post or two on that project I don't remember when or the name of it. Hopefully someone else will. I remember there was a company that made them but don't remember them being powder coated.

I would call Sailfish and ask them who made them, then call the Fab guy and have them build you one. Defiantly through bolt it if you do. Surprised yours didn't come with it.

After all the complaining from people who have powder coated t-tops I would think twice about that. They look nice but from what I've read they begin to chip after a short amount of time. Good luck with your search, let us know how you do.

X2 on powder coating. Every boat I’ve had with powder coating has eventually started failing. It was awful looking on the Albemarle and the factory wouldn’t even give me a price to fix it. Rather have stainless or anodized. Yes, I’ve got powder coated hardtop supports on the sailfish, but there was no other choice.

Hey Captains!
Thanks for the responses. I did contact Aaron (Great Guy to work with) at SAILFISH. The rocket launcher for the tackle station is $1500 + shipping. It does not come powder coated and I am not sure if it comes with the mounting hardware such as nuts and bolts. At this time I am standing down as I do not believe the $1500 as well as dismantling the tackle station to mount the RL is worth the cost and effort. Lot's of work would be involved and it's boating and fishing season!
Stay safe and keep those lines tight!!

I have a 2018 and I think there's a couple bubbly spots starting to form on the brackets that the mounting bolts go through.....

Haven’t looked yet this year. Hoping to get out next week to install the new battery that’s been in the garage for weeks and get it ready for summer. When I bought the boat I bought repair paint for the powder coating as I’m sure it will start soon. paint is orbit pure white at orbittx.com/index.php?page=shop.browse&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=1

I did! I bought it from SF. It was indeed powder coated to match. It didn’t cost anywhere near $1500 but it was a while ago and prices change and they along with all the other manufacturers are short on supplies trying to keep up with demand. I agree 100% and would prefer to have nothing powder coated on the boat, but so far I have been lucky. I did NOT through bolt it. I figured I had to drill the holes anyway so I would start with screws and if I needed to through bolt, my holes would at least be pre drilled in the right place. Well, its not going anywhere. Would not be nervous about 2 300 pound dudes holding on to it for balance while running. It has 12 huge screws holding it to thick fiberglass. I would not trust a T top to that sort of fastening.
