I am trying to fabricate rear jump seats. Bought the cushions and seaboard. Noticed pictures of jump seats have a notch and a small counter sunk hole. Are these to anchor the seat? Can someone be kind enough to send a picture? Than k you.

There are these snap like attachments that are screwed into the gunwale where those notches seat. That keeps the seat from sliding forward and falling off.

My boat is in the shop otherwise I'd snap a picture. They do look kinda like heavy duty snaps

You can get those snaps at a Sailfish dealer. I added the rear seats after I purchased the boat and my local dealer ordered them for me.
