Hello everyone. I am relatively a new Sailfish member; I've own a 15' Ashcraft, and currently own a 2002 Seapro 1900 CC. I've been researching Sailfish boats for years, and I am very interested in the Sailfish 272 CC, and will possibly order one with twin two hundred Yamahas prior to the end of this year. Does any of you own a Sailfish 272 CC, or know anyone who does? I am trying to find out as much as I can about the boat, cost, handling...etc; any information will be helpful. I greatly appreciate any information that any of you are able to assist with...thank you.
Very Respectfully,
Dave

Hi Dave, Welcome aboard. I would recommend outfitting the 272 with the twin 200's at a minimum. I've seen a lot of them rigged with twin 150's which I think is really underpowered for that size/weight hull. Check out this thread on the forum (Boat Test Sailfish 272cc... 41 mph WOT???), very poor numbers.

Welcome!!! I know Sailfish sold a ton of 270 and 2660s. The 272 is the next generation of this size boat but with better handling and dryness. This will be one of the better boats in this size class. Good luck with your search and purchase.
