1st post on here... Starting stereo upgrade in my 2017 270CC and looking for input/pics on where people installed an amplifier in the console.
I have an 8 channel JL amp to power 6 speakers(Bridged 880's in the back)
I did a quick test fit and it looks like the amp could fit in the wiring compartment on the left hand side(There's a decent amount of fiberglass surface to mount to). Things seem like they will be a little tight in there but it seems cleaner than putting out in the open inside the console and dealing with visible wiring.
If anyone has put in an amp or two and happy or un-happy with the results let me know.
Thanks, Eric

Thanks, Eric Eric - Welcome aboard, I'm sure you will get some great advice and tips from some of the guys with your hull who have done this upgrade. In the meantime, can I suggest adding an introduction? Maybe where you boat out of, any upgrades you've done, how you use the boat etc... We have a forum specifically for that: sailfishownersforum.proboards.com/board/1/introductionsWelcome aboard!
