Ended the year installing outriggers I had since June and began the year installing switches. Good news is I have nothing else to install. Now all switches are backlit and easy for me to see at night and when I don’t have my glasses on.

Nice! Not to bright at night?

No. Not as bright as blue would have been. The shirt camera on my phone doesn’t do it justice.

Looks good. Nice to be able to see them at night.

Looks Great. Did a complete dash redo on my 2660 last winter. Went with similar switch covers with red text, the color and brightness displays well for me. Although the blue color looks cool, brighter and more modern, too distracting for my eyes. Redid the cockpit lights in blue a couple of years ago, looks "in da club" cool, but distracting as heck. Will eventually change back to amber, or maybe red.

I went with the red switches because lights in t-top and vhf display red, figured I’d stay consistent.

I went red on my switches as well and glad I did...they can be a little dim at times, but better than being blinded.
Speaking of red light, I have a Lumitec rail light above the helm and it's great to be able to select red light on overnight trips...makes me wish I would have ponied up for the selectable red for my spreader lights.

Looks Great! The Low Beer Alarm, when you hit the switch, does the voice of Morgan Freeman come on asking "is this all the beer you have on board"?

Haha I didn't even see the "Low Beer Alarm" switch.

Now that’s a must for every boat.

There’s one more switch as well. “Fish On”. I’m hoping to link it to a camera to activate recording when we get a bite. And the Low Beer well that just means the mates better get the captain a beer. He gets really pissed when he’s thirsty. Lol. I love the Morgan Freeman suggestion and if I can figure a way to activate a recording that would be perfect.

The dash looks great! Love the new switch covers.
Please let us know how the camera activation works if you get it up and running. I also want to add a camera to the hardtop tab on the SF 245 for ready recording. I thought about a Garmin VIRB and control it from the MFD, but it is discontinued. So I might end up with a GoPro. I want to install a USB outlet in the hardtop to allow power hookup to the camera without having to worry about a battery.

I put a GoPro up where the hardtop is designed for a camera attachment and I control the GoPro with an iPad. Tried a phone, but was too hard to use when the boat is moving. Have multiple videos of grandkids and their friends on Big Mable and many of my friends while bringing in a fish. I carry a spare battery for the GoPro but I've only have to switch it occasionally. Here a snap from a video.
I use a Sionyx mounted on the windshield at night and the iPad to view it live. It works great. So much better than infrared. If there are any stars out at all I can see everything in color. So much easier to see crab pot floats when in color.
I'd like a more permanently mounted solution, but so far I haven't found the camera to equal the Sionyx at night. And with the iPad I can have a live view and radar up at the same time.

Probably won’t happen until March when I get a chance for some free time work on it.
