Welcome to the forum. Break in the engine per the manual. I'm sure the boat will provide a lot of enjoyment.
One of the thing I do with is new boat is look for a weather day that's the worst I'd ever expect I'd get caught in if a storm took me by surprise. I take it out then to learn how to handle it when it's messy and to find out how the boat does. At least with my Sailfish it handles the slop a lot better than I do.

Congrats on the new boat. I have no idea how to break in a new boat cause I’ve always bought used. My one suggestion is repair anything that breaks, tears or malfunctions within 30 days. Otherwise they pile up and then the overall repair bill can be depressing and overwhelming. Also, my rule is the boat is cleaned no less than 24 hours after each use. Overall philosophy ought to be maintain, maintain, maintain otherwise you’ll feel the pain. I’m sure you’ll lone the rig. We all do. What power are you running? I have 2660 with Suzukis. Send pictures when you bring her home.
