Does anyone know how to remove the coaming pads on the new center console models? I have what looks like its a bracket (not the christmas tree looking pegs) but i can't figure out how to pop them off and dont want to break the bracket. I want to clean behind them because they are filthy and black marks appear below the pads after a rain with water dripping behind them. Eventually I will probably replace with SeaDek coaming pads but for now, just want to be able to remove them to clean behind them. Seems like they should be removeable. Thanks!

on my 2020 270cc the clips are mounted to the bolsters and one screw is screwed into the fiberglass for each clip. lift up the material where the clip is and you should see the screw.

forgot to mention that there is a bracket mounted to the fiberglass also. After taking screw out lift the bolster straight up to get it of other bracket.

Thank you! Stupid question but how do you get the screw out? I can barely pull my pads off the gunnels enough to see the bracket behind them, let alone a screw. I can't see the screw or access it. Is it from the side? bottom? top?

Hey Seaman ~ You are going to have nudge the cushion up and out of the way to access the phillips screw head. They will be on the bottom side of the cushion. Try not to use too much force with the screw driver so that you don't slip and plunge the driver through your pads. Good Luck.

For anyone else needing this info, Blue Agave and Chrissyt are spot on. I finally got around to working on and the pads have a backet on the back of the pad (almost at the bottom) with 1 screw which you can access on the bottom of the pad/cushion. You have to push up the cushion a little bit to access it. Dont use a power drill, use a regular screw driver so you dont damage or over tighten. Just feel underneath the bottom of the cushion and you will feel the bracket and screw. Once the screw is off the pads push up to come off. A little bit of a pain to put back on because you have to pull up the cushion to line up the screw but not that difficult.
