Hi all, This week we bought a 2004 Sailfish 218cc with Yamaha F150. She was a local Keys boat and the longtime previous owner had replaced it with a 2660. It is in surprisingly nice shape for an 18 yo boat. We just did 100 hr maintenance, freshened the bottom paint, gave her a full polish inside and out. Nurse Shark is now tied our dock. Looking forward to learning all the intricacies of Sailfish(es).

Welcome aboard and good luck with it. Spent my first winter down in Key largo snowbirding it, am back north now, but would def. like to grab a beer in the fall. Should start coming back in Octoberish....

Welcome aboard, I had that exact boat back in 2006, and 2007.

Congrats on the new rig. Glad you posted a pic of it and it does look great. Enjoy taking it to The Humps. Can’t wait to see all the fish pics. I live in Vero and we take occasional trips to the Keys.

Good luck with the new rig. Had a 2005 sailfish 218. I fished out of Long Key for 9 years with that boat. Did everything with that rig from diving to fishing the humps. Always felt safe in that boat. Had more people wanting to fish and extend my range so upgraded to a new 270cc 2 years ago. Can't go wrong with a sailfish!
