I was down at the boat today cleaning my vinyl and applying Collonite vinyl protectant and as i was wiping the console backrest, the emblem just pushed in and detached. it is from 2014 when I replaced it but the rest of the vinyl is perfect. You can tell the sun took its toll on the emblem, not sure what they made that out of but not very UV resistant. The rest of my emblems look fine however so maybe a manufacturing defect? Anyway I'm going to try and gorilla glue it for now. I sent Llebroc an email to start the process of ordering a new backrest.

Sorry for the problem. Guess the emblem got hotter in sun light?

I'm not sure maybe it was poorly stitch from the get go?
I got some Locktite vinyl glue and gorilla flexible waterproof adhesive to try as a temporary measure.

Sorry pal always something. You could try this remount the emblem on a circle or oval then attach that to the back rest. That's how the original logo was done.

My glue seems to be doing the trick for now. Hopefully Llbroc can fix me up a new one.

On the bolsters I had replaced some years back, the Sailfish logo was embroidered on a stand alone piece that the upholstery shop was able to remove and then border sew on the new bolsters.
From your description, do you think Lebroc embroidered the logo directly on the material? All the extra pinholes from the logo might have weakened the fabric in that area, allowing it to be pushed in.

It was a patch stitched to the seat back and from what I could tell an open hole behind it.
I'm going to have it removed on the next one. Seems to be a weak point.
