Hi, I recently bought a 2014 Sailfish 270 that cosmetically looks like its from the 1800’s. The bones and power are good though. I already started detailing to be followed by engine maintenance (twin 150hp yami’s) and I bought a pile of new electronics to then install. Will clean up wiring. Man if only this hull had aft in deck storage…. I think its my forever boat (I’ve also said that before…). My dream is Bahamas and Tortugas runs and the occasional YFT trip out 100+ miles from my home on Fl East Coast. Any and all tips and guidance appreciated!

Great riding boat, I have the smaller sister 2360. If it doesn't have curtains, a 5 piece with wings would be recommended. When wind is on the quarter you will get wet. The boat has an amazing ride, learn to drive it. I came from a big 30 Grady White which basically you just point and go but the Sailfish has a better head sea ride.

Welcome. Congrats on the 270. I have a 2660 and also live on east coast of Fl. Vero Beach. Where are you located?
