I believe max for my 2007 2360 is 300 or twin 150s. If my boat could handle it I'd hang 250s catch me later I'd be gone. Lol 🤣

Just the usual stuff. Survey is ALWAYS recommended when buying used.

Not just survey when looking at a used boat...one surveyor I hired told me of a job he had to survey a new boat (I think it was a Sea Ray but am not 100 % sure, but in any case it was a well known brand still at the factory and about to be delivered to the buyer up north). He found water in the upper deck hull of a flybridge or similar boat that apparently got wet during the assembly process and the interior core material of the decking there was saturated. Surveyor found it and saved the buyer a ton of cash. I think they ended up redoing that whole section of the fly bridge as it would have prematurely failed otherwise, especially with freezing that would have occurred up north where the boat was to be delivered, which would have cracked that area as the water expanded upon freezing. I am a firm believer in surveying...usually I learn from the surveyor and often their fee is offset or saved by their findings.

Just the usual stuff. Survey is ALWAYS recommended when buying used. On this 2660 with 150s, I know you replaced the exhaust kits on one motor, if you don't mind me asking what was the cost of this? I'm going to look into the harmonic balancers as well.

I'm going to look into the harmonic balancers as well. To clarify it wasn't the exhaust kit I installed, which is what is commonly referred to with the dry exhaust corrosion problems found on the F225 - F250's. What I had replaced was the "guide exhaust" which is upper section of the exhaust just below the block. This is an item recommended for inspection as part of the 1000 hr service. There have been few reported cases similar to mine. It is an expensive fix because the block has to come off, as does the lower unit. I dont remember exactly but want to say it was in the $3000 range. Moral of the story get motors inspected too

Well I looked at the 2660 and it was in poor shape unfortunately. The 2360 was in really good condition and everything checked out. The sea trial went smooth, those 200s are a rocket on this boat and very fuel efficient. With 3 people in the stern there was no water im the boat until we all went to one side and then it drained out immediately. We worked out a deal and hoping to pick her up in a few weeks. Excited, its a big step up from my 218.

Wow nice! Good luck and would like to see pics and hear more about performance with those f200's once you get her dialed in.
