Going to look into getting my boat inside this year . It would be nice not to have to deal with taking a snow off of it all the time and nice to work on winter projects.Going to see if I can find something for the 4 months or 3 months.

That would be nice. I had to remove 6 inches of snow off mine last year when I pulled it home to install new electronics. I can't imagine having to do that all the time. Good luck with your search.

I wish I had inside storage in the winter, although I do like being able to walk outside my house to work on the boat over the winter, that way if I forget something I can run back inside.
Have you thought about putting your hard hat back on and building a barn on that nice lot of yours?

How about shrinkwrapping? I have mine done every winter and get a door put in so I can go in and out all winter long. Usually runs around 300-325. I can access everything from the rub rail in and even get all the inside polishing/waxing done before I remove it.

Heated Inside storage for the Long MN winter is like finding the pot at the end of the Rainbow! And I was lucky this year. 5 minutes from the house. My wife has already accepted my absence over the winter.

The problem with Inside storage that I have found in CT s that the yards insists that they do all the maintenance (oil change, lower unit oil, filters and winterizing along with spring commissioning.) However, I try not to let anyone work on my boat except me. So I'll be outside again this season up the CT river in Portland, CT. Its a long run up the river and a nice way to end the season. But boating season is NOT over yet. Went out yesterday after installing upgraded Autopilot sensor (Raymarine EV-1/ACU 150). Now I just need to get the fishfinder working again. I have sea temp but no depth. Raymarine says to update software which I'll do but I am skeptical as I don't see why it would stop working all of a sudden because of a needed software update.

What a beautiful picture my favorite part of the morning. I'm looking into inside storage away from marinas just because of over there ridiculous maintenance policies

shelbri, Normal for manufacturers to ask you to upgrade before they work a problem. 'Rediscovery' of a known problem can be time consuming, so they want you to upgrade before they get started. I agree it's probably not the software, but you never know. Maybe you'll get lucky and the upgrade will fix it!
