Took my youngest granddaughter and one of her friends out yesterday mostly to ride around and go to the sandbar. When they were in about 4 feet of water and about 3 feet apart I pointed out a moon jellyfish between them. Sheer panic ensued. Took awhile before I could convince them it was okay and we all had a good laugh.
We then went to fish and granddaughter caught a good size Spanish. She was holding it while her friend was taking a picture and the Spanish started to regurgitate the last fish it ate tail first. Again panic ensued and the Spanish was quickly thrown overboard. After explained we all had another good laugh.
Day was topped off by a heavy downpour that they enjoyed on a very hot day. So, two lessons they won’t forget to go along with memorable day. Always end up enjoying taking kids out on the boat. Hope your time on the boat is as much fun as mine.

Great times! Making memories is way better than making money, and your time together is priceless.

Fun times. I miss those adventures with my daughter. Hopefully not too far down the road I can enjoy the grandkids, but I don’t want to rush time either.

I enjoyed the kids, but grandkids definitely better. Not our job to discipline or do much more than provide fun, somewhere to get away from mom & dad, and opportunities for them to learn.
Yeah, don't rush it as even the kids grow up too fast. Some good times with my own kids too:
