Cracked the base sleeve on my tigresss center rigger pole. Seems like an easy replacement…. But for the life of me I can’t find the part?!?
I did send an email to the company, anyone else find any tigress pole parts anywhere?!?

Did you send email to tigress@easternmetal.com? The number I called for support was 844-740-1260. Tigress Outriggers is a small division of Eastern Metal Supply. Once you talk to somebody great customer service but I had to call a few times in order to reach the gentleman in charge of Outrigger materials. Can’t remember his name but he was very helpful.

That is the email I sent it too. It was late in the day yesterday when I sent it. Figured for sure a quick search online and I’d find what I needed. I’ll give them a day or 2 to get back to me then call if I need to. Thanks for the input!

I ordered a part from Taco. It’s for their 1 1/8” outriggers. Fingers crossed they both make their tubing the same OD. I think it will be too long, but I’ve got a saw for that!

Today I get an email from tigress. Send us your shipping info and we will send you one! The bad news is the one I ordered from taco already shipped so I couldn’t cancel the order. Frustrating as it’s not in the UPS system yet so it’s probably still in the building. The other good news though is I’ll be able to compare side by side a let everyone know if they are the same! I can’t be the only one that cracks the base!

If Taco won’t honor a refund you’ll still have a spare if it cracks again.

They’ll refund, but after shipping and restocking fee, it would cost me more to return it then just keep it!

Maybe you can sell the Taco part.

I’m not to concerned. It was a $15 part with $17 shipping. Tigress sent theirs free. I’m on the road working so I’ve not had a chance to compare parts and make sure they are both correct.

I took some pics, but in the interest of saving space I decided not to post, not that interesting anyway.
I was able to remove old base fairly easily by using a chisel to continue the crack full length. That separates it from all the epoxy and it slid right off. Scraped and sanded all old epoxy away.
Taco base has slightly larger inside and outside diameter but could easily be made to work using epoxy putty instead of liquid. The holes for push pin that hold pole in holder are in wrong spot and new holes would need to be drilled.
Tigress sleeve has nice snug fit. In fact I had to use a file to clean up the mold seam on the inside. This one has no holes so holes still need to be drilled, no big deal.
I’d rate this project at 1-2 beers depending on how hard initial removal might be!
