Sounds fair. Anyway, I enjoy anytime that I get to spend on or near the water and being with the Admiral just adds to the pleasure.

Not so easy getting back on the boat when the tide came in, Lol. We all got a jet ski ride back to the boat.

I can never relax at the beach with the boat. Always adjusting anchors and anchor lines. And walk the beach out of sight of the boat, you’ve got to be kidding me!! I know, I worry too much.

I hear you, BUT after 5 or 6 beers I stopped checking, if the anchor broke loose I was screwed nothing but huge rocks for the boat to land on.

You’re not alone. I prefer anchoring and hanging on the boat, swimming in clean water and avoiding the usual knuckle heads.

Depending on where we anchor there are times I just let the boat beach itself (on a sandy bottom of course) and enjoy the day. I try to avoid those spots where I have to be constantly adjusting the anchor or worry about the morons who have no idea what they are doing and like to play bumper pool with the boats while anchored.

Sandbars are much more enjoyable when there is a ball to toss around. Doesn't matter which type of ball. Oh, and someone to catch it and throw it back, too.

Or a four legged friend. They always return the ball.
Who loves you more, your wife or your dog?
Well, lock them both in the trunk of your car for three hours and when you open the trunk which one is going to be glad to see you?

My previous dog only knew tug of war---or at least he pretended not to know any other game. I could throw a ball. He would get it. He would bring it back. He would not drop it. Tug-or-war ensues. He was a great dog. Miss that guy.
