Two sure remedies curtains and wings. Quartering seas are a bitch. One way to help stay dry without curtains is with your tabs lift the wet side of the boat as high as possible and lower the opposite side. However curtains are worth every penny Especially here in New England due to colder temps.

I bet their boats didn't run as soft. 20 mph winds in quartering sea is no joke. It's a compromise, pound some to knock the water down or super soft landings.
Like Glen said curtains are great and it's about curtain season.
Il take my boat over any size Sea Fox all day every day and twice on Sunday and I don't care if the SF doesn't allow a single drop of water on board. Lol

Every season is curtain season. Mine only come off for hurricanes. I’ll roll the wings up out of the way for trailering and lower as needed. I’d rather have wings down than have to start tacking like a sailboat to stay dry ish.

In the second photo all curtains are rolled up to enjoy the open feel of a center concole

Thanks all, any recommendations on where to get the curtains and cost estimate? Also, if you have pictures of their set up I would greatly appreciate it!

I run my 245dc out in the Atlantic quite a bit and have been pleased with the performance, on occasions running faster than bigger CC's. On the other hand, one time I was taking a older couple (and by that I mean older than me) for a tour of the bay, in less then 2' with 15MPH 1/4 winds, the ride was fine, but the constant splashing was annoying. In 200+ hours only time. I had the curtains, but to lazy to put up for a two-hour tour.

I paid around $3k for a custom 5 piece enclosure. Of course it would have been less had I only had a 3 piece made (front panel and 2 wings). I chose some pretty expensive materials which added to the cost I'm sure you can find a place make you a 3 piece for less esp if you dont use the more rigid glass. I saw this on Great Lakes Skipper not sure what model it's for though and it seems like its only the type that wraps around the console, no wings, better for keeping the Capt'n and 2nd mate dry not a boat full of people. Still a good deal I thought. www.greatlakesskipper.com/sailfish-boat-t-top-enclosure-curtain-48-0473-white-94-x-47-inch

I have a nice curtain set and will also be adding the smart rails to my boat this winter. They are ugly as sin in my opinion but they do work good.
