Well my friends the rest of 2023 is unknown but today’s news is a great start to the New Year. Admiral’s surgery was Dec 30 and initial pathology results were in her favor. Last Thursday we got notified that the final pathology reports showed no, nada, ZERO signs of cancer in any breast tissue or the lymph nodes that were removed. Today we had a follow up appointment and the doctor gave us the pathology results in writing reaffirming last weeks phone call and advising no need for radiation. Although we realize there’s always a chance of reoccurrence in the next 3-5 years she is CANCER FREE as of her surgery. Today was day 288 of her journey. She has another 2-4 weeks of healing from the surgery as well as time to grow back her eyelashes and hair. She hopes to be back at work in mid February. I appreciate all the support, encouragement, and prayers from my Sailfish family. What I most look forward to is taking her on her first boat ride of the New Year. Hopefully we’ll find her a few sea turtles 🐢which is always a joy for her on the ocean.

Spectacular news! I'm very happy for you guys. It's a tough road no doubt but it sounds like this chapter is about to end and you two will start a new one. All the best to you two!
