I asked this on facebook but hoping to get a few more suggestions. I’ve owned this boat for a couple months and only had a few trips out in it.
At cruising speed it seems like i’m constantly adjusting the trim tabs for a balanced ride. I know this is from the deep V, Just looking for any advice from guys with more experience with the 218 maybe I just need more time to get use to it.
Thanks in advance John

My 218cc was very tender at drift, I'd imagine the wac is more so being that it's more top heavy.
I also had to use tabs quite a bit, I do although not as much even with my 2660. You have a couple things working against you, the hull is more tender/sensitive, prop torque from a single engine and the boat being more top heavy. The boat will also tend to heal into the wind or waves so depending on the wind speed, sea state and direction your traveling you may find yourself having to adjust which tab to deploy and how much.
The hull does ride amazingly well so if you can master the engine trim and tab adjustments she should treat you right. Another alternative is to maybe look into upgrading your Lenco tabs to the Lenco automatic tabs that will adjust the tabs for you so that it will free up some of your time. Just a thought
