Yesterday boat shuddered and bogged down at about 4500 RPMs in about 6 feet of water under normal load, felt like hitting bottom, but def. did not hit bottom. After throttling down to idle speed, checking to make sure we hadn't hit bottom, looking for an injured manatee etc, throttled back up, happened again around same RPMs, ran the rest of the way home at 4000 RPM no problem. This morning starting looking at fuel lines etc and noticed this plug unplugged. It looks like it connects right under the left cowling latch, Does anyone know what it is and if it should be connected? Seems obvious that it should be, but I'm hesitant to just connect it without knowing what it is. I'm in Florida and mu shop manual is in NJ (DUH!)
