Ok, someone on here jinxed me. CG boarded today and horn didn’t work. Couldn’t find a whistle. They let me off anyway. Turned out there were 3 whistles on board. Now there are 4… so, where do I find this…..

They must not like their horn very much, manufacturer doesn’t even put their name on it!!
2 1/4” hole, 3 1/2” screw spacing. Anyone know what fits?
The fabric that waterproofs it behind grill cover all torn. Had my pressure washer up there not long ago… I wonder… 😡

Without cutting a larger hole, I don’t think you will get anything better than the buzzer type noise.
BTW, aqua signal horns do not seem to actually exist anywhere. Instead ordered Marinco 10082 horn and a Marinco 11185 stainless cover. Looks to fit in same 2 1/4” hole, but the screw spacing is about 1/2” further apart.

I replaced my horn last year with the one pictured in the attachment. Similar problem, the waterproof membrane gave out allowing water into the horn mechanism and shortly after that it died thanks to water and corrosion. I know Dirty D also was trying to replace his horn but the one I used on my boat, which was an exact fit/make replacement on my 2017 275 DC, was too large for his boat so if nothing else you may want to send Dale a note and see what he found to replace his horn. I agree all of these small boat horns seem pretty wimpy though. Just for grins and giggles I've often wondered if I could put something like this on board. Something that can be heard a mile and half away seems pretty awesome...I wonder if my 2500 Watt inverter would power this up?! www.kahlenberg.com/horn-model-z-320-sc-pneumatic-horn.htmlAttachments:

I think I could have upgraded to something with a better sound by enlarging the hole, but the T-Top is also a factor the way it is placed on mine. Decided to just try and keep it as simple as possible.

Now I need to find a replacement for my Fusion radio that will fit in the same place as the one that is in there now. I think it is a Fusion IP600 and it would be nice to find a unit that would fit in that same hole.

The 755 should fit. I went from a 600 to 750 and it more or less fit. I looked into the 755 as a possible replacement.

Horns and boats seem to always be an issue. My Albemarle had 2 air horns and about every 3 months or so I'd have to take things apart and clean up salt contamination or water in the air hose or both. If I didn't wash thoroughly the salt would mess up the horns, if I washed them good, the water got in the air hose.
So, although I'm not impressed with my current horn, it's a big improvement in maintenance over the air horns. Got to admit, the air horns would get people's attention much better than my current horn...when they worked right.

I found a used 600 that will fit right back in the hole and will work for now to get me back online with Sirius radio for when I'm offshore. I'll upgrade later after the season if I don't put her up for sale.

It really burns me when manufacturers replace models with different sizes. Garmin does the same thing. For whatever reason after the 8212 was released and replaced, Garmin changed the dimensions of the replacement 12" MFDs, the new cut out being smaller. They also made the screen size smaller. Needless to say I'm in no hurry to replace my 8212's.
