I made some rear jump seats for my 08 2660 out of starboard but for the life of me I cannot figure out how the factory jump seats attach "securely". There are metal snaps around the transom on my boat, do the OEM seats snap into those, and if so how? are there corresponding snaps on the starboard seat base? I dont see how I can snap the seats into the OEM snaps on the sides.
I have tried Velcro but it just peals off the starboard, I can wedge the bases into the opening but they always slide forward so I must be missing something obvious - pictures would be appreciated...

They slide under the rear snaps and sit on the forward two snaps.

There is a notch cut on the underside of the starboard and the forward snap/button pops into that notch. It is this that keeps the seat from sliding forward.

Thanks all - I never would have guessed it was just a notch - any issues with them sliding forward or are they pretty tight?

As long as the legs are locked in place they stay put. Last year I had my boat detailed and the detailer must have knocked the leg from its lock button and when I stepped on it to board it collapsed and I fell pretty hard. I am more careful stepping on now!

I had one fall while someone was sitting on it because when I installed it I didn't slide the back edge under the snap button so it tipped forward and off they slid.
