Wondering if anyone happens to know the answer. installed two luminec razor light bars on my '23 27ft sailfish. Last night before leaving the shore tried them and after about 10 minutes, tripped the breaker. Reset breaker and same thing happened. Each light is 9amps so wondering if both factory installed switch and breaker is 20amps. If it's not, I found my issue. If it is, then I have some kind of wiring issue. Appreciate the info if anyone happens to know

Sounds like too small of breaker for sure. They should have a rating on them.

I had the same problem but different boat, and factory defaults were 5 amp. Bigger ones did the trick and easy to install

Thanks for the replies.I had reached out to sailfish and those guys are great. Wanted to share their response below for anyone else who may have same issue....
The breaker for the hardtop switch is only rated for 10A.
You can swap the 10A out for a 20A, the wires are sized appropriately to handle this.
Under high load conditions, you may see a slight dimming or flickering, in which case you would need to re-wire that switch to come from the two 10A breakers on the circuit breaker panel in the head. They are located in the Bottom, Port positions. They are unused. If you pursues this alt solution, I would recommend using 14 awg wires to run two red from each breaker up to the hardtop switch panel. The black Negative wires needs to be sized 14 as well, and needs to go to the negative bus bar in the dash, not in the hardtop."
